Well, today is March 14, and we from Friday Fans wish “Mr. Perfectionist” Aamir Khan a very Happy Birthday. Today is his 53rd birthday. Throughout his career spanning over thirty years in the Hindi film industry, he has established himself as one of the most influential and famous, popular actors of all times in Indian cinema. He is one actor who constantly reinvented himself and experimented with his looks, concepts, and different intellectual ideas.
Ever since making his debut with “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” as a full time acting career role in this tragic romance, but not many knows that his first feature film role was in the Ketan Mehta’s experimental movie named “Holi” in 1984, after that “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” in 1988. Apart from that, he had also acted as a child actor in the movies like “Yaadon Ki Barat” and “Madhosh”. Some of his amazing works include Andaz Apna Apna, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, Rangeela, Raja Hindustani, Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots, PK, Dangal and much more to come.
From making his debut in 1988 to Lagaan in 2001, Aamir Khan had a normal career, but thereafter from Lagaan, he took off spectacularly. He had decided to do one movie at a time and that too different genre of movies. With this speculation, blockbuster movies like PK, 3Idiots, Dangal, Secret Superstar, Taare Zameen Parfollowed up and each one is a blockbuster hit.
His approach in doing a film is very different from others. He is referred to as the Perfectionist because of his stupendous method acting and the unusual different way of presenting and publicizes the movie. Interestingly, Aamir Khan says that the tag Mr. Perfectionist is not appropriate for him, rather he wants to be known as “Mr. Passionate” as for him in a particular shot the heart of the moment should be portrayed rather than the technicalities perfection. However, the opinions of his costars and colleagues are different from him. They say that he is indeed Mr. Perfectionist as he had rejected 6 different scripts for Lagaan and later on went on to like the 7th script so much that he even decided to produce it, hiring a Punjabi tutor in order to get the accent right for Rang De Basanti, piercing his ears for Lagaan and there are numerous examples in relation to his Perfectionist image.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is busy shooting for “Thugs of Hindostan” in Jodhpur which is slated to release on Diwali in November 2018. It is the first time that he and Amitabh Bachchan will share screen space together. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh in pivotal roles. It promises to be a unique movie as it is on the little known Thuggee cult of professional robbers and murderers and both Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan play the role of leaders of Thuggees.
