Saawariya (9 Nov 2007); Verdict: FLOP
When you have a SRK movie releasing along, you hardly have a chance of overcoming that craze. But yet there was an excitement regarding the launch of the two most awaited star kids, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor sharing the screen together. Om Shaanti Om earned a whopping Rs. 151 Cr worldwide while Saawariya managed to gain Rs. 39 Cr.
Fashion (29 Oct 2008); Verdict: SEMI HIT
Golmaal Returns (29 Oct 2008); Verdict: HIT
The clash between the Madhur Bhandarkar movie and Rohit Shetty movie was pretty strong. One was about the real life instances and situations faced in the fashion industry and the other was full of sheer fun and enjoyment. Golmaal Returns however won the race and earned Rs. 83 Cr while Fashion earned Rs. 43 Cr worldwide.

Blue (16 Oct 2009); Verdict: FLOP
Main Aur Mrs Khanna (16 Oct 2009); Verdict: DISASTER
It was very difficult for any movie goers to choose one amongst these three movies. They were all too disastrous to go for. People opted comedy the most. With Blue, Anthony D’souza tried to attempt something Hollywood standard, therefore attracted a few viewers. But Main aur Mrs. Khanna bombed at the box office. All the best and Blue earned almost at par, Rs. 67 Cr and Rs. 66 Cr respectively while Main aur Mrs. Khanna earned Rs. 15 Cr.
Action Replay (5 Nov 2010); Verdict: FLOP
Golmaal 3 (5 Nov 2010); Verdict: BLOCKBUSTER
Golmaal 3 came back again with its another installment of movie, Rohit Shetty waving his wand right yet again! Golmaal 3 earned Rs. 173 Cr worldwide whereas Action Replayy managed to earn Rs. 47 Cr.
Ra.One (26 Oct 2011); Verdict: HIT
By this time, movie goers had increased by manyfolds and Ra-One being the only released movie that Diwali, did an amazing job at the box office earning Rs. 221 Cr worldwide!
Jab Tak Hai Jaan (13 Nov 2012); Verdict: HIT
Son of Sardaar (13 Nov 2012); Verdict: HIT
Can anyone defeat the King Khan? Despite being a movie with an average story line but an interesting cast, Jab Tak Hai Jaan became a hit, and earned Rs. 235 Cr leaving Son of Sardaar behind at Rs. 163 Cr worldwide.
Krrish3 (1 Nov 2013); Verdict: BLOCKBUSTER
Hrithik Roshan came with a bang with this Koi Mil Gaya series of movies adding on some supernatural characters and made it a blockbuster by earning Rs. 384 Cr worldwide.
Happy New Year (24 Oct 2014); Verdict: SUPER HIT
Shah Rukh Khan yet again proved that he is the King Khan and his name is enough for a movie to become a super hit. With a story line as thin as a thread, Happy New Year managed to earn Rs. 385 Cr worldwide!
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (12 Nov 2015); Verdict: SUPER HIT
If we are talking about the King Khan, can our favourite Salman Khan be far behind? Rajshri Production had their Prem back who did an amazing job on screen even with such a weak story line. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo earned Rs. 395 Cr worldwide.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (28 Oct 2016); Verdict: HIT
Shivaay (28 Oct 2016); Verdict: AVERAGE
These were the two much-hyped movies of the year, with Aishwarya’s comeback in such a sizzling role and having Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in its bag, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was one of the most awaited movie whereas Shivaay coming up with such a beautiful trailer had joined the must watch movie list of hard-core movie watchers. Both the movies did well, Shivaay earning Rs. 146 Cr and ADHM landing up with Rs. 238 Cr worldwide.
