Movies with so much Twist that Audience got Confused

If you ask any movie buff about what they like most about a movie, the unanimous reply would be content. But apart from the narrative audience also love how the narrative is structured. It is the twist and turns which keep you hooked to the movie. Every now and then there are some movies which are so brilliantly bound by intriguing elements that you will definitely get confused. Here are our favorite picks.

Before Ram Gopal Verma started creating fiascos with his movies, he did quite a few impressive movies. One of them was Kaun. A perfect suspense thriller featuring two of the brilliant actors of the industry Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee, Kaun had a taut script with clever turns and twists. And when you reach the climax, you actually know ‘kaun’ is the serial killer?

Neeraj Pandey is probably one of those storytellers who have never compromised on content even if they have failed to strike gold at the Box Office. It was ‘A Wednesday’ which paved his path of success. The narrative, to begin with seems quite simple. A terrorist blackmails Mumbai police and force them to release some of the deadly terrorists of the world. This film is a must-watch as it helps to move beyond your everyday complacency and question about the effectiveness of the system.

When it comes to twists and turns in the movie, one cannot simply miss Kahaani starring the talented Vidya Balan. A pregnant woman comes to Calcutta in search of her husband Milind Damji. What follows is a series of spinning chain of events which will make your brain fuzzy. And when you reach the end, you are left speechless.

Let’s talk about Hollywood and one of the most gripping plots of all times has to be Orphan. This movie has that quintessential feel of chill. From the beginning, you have the sense of uncanny and to get rid of that feeling of uneasiness you have to wait till the end.

When it comes to Christopher Nolan, there will be always a good dose of surprise element in his movies. The movie Prestige has a lot going on and you are bound to be confused. Both Hugh Jackman and Christain Bale are good, but if one has to pick a favorite, he might choose Christian Bale because he is astounding in the role of the magician. And you have to watch till the climax to untangle the various knots.

A directorial by David Fincher Se7en is a truly messed-up movie with talented actors like Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman at pivotal roles. The narrative is a suspense thriller where Pitt and Freeman are chasing a serial killer. The killer is planning his murders on the seven deadly sins. You must wait till the end to know the final twist.
